The following General Terms and Conditions for Online Booking are valid from 1 March 2024. The General Conditions are valid in the agreement between the vehicle rental company Finntori OY and the end client (hereinafter referred to as the “Client” or “Renter”). We kindly ask you to read our General Terms and Conditions for renting a motorhome. Subsequently, you will be asked to confirm that you have read and understood the General Terms and Conditions before your booking is confirmed. I. Online Booking Process

Online booking algorithm

So, the online booking algorithm comes down to the following steps:



Step 1: Select a service – Select the travel dates you are interested in on the main page of our website or in the product card.

Step 2: At this point, the available vehicle categories will be displayed based on the criteria you selected in the previous step. When checking out the available vehicles, you’ll be able to view descriptions of the different categories of motorhomes and choose the one that best suits your needs.

Step 3: At this stage of the booking, you will have the opportunity to book additional products and services.

Step 4: You can continue your booking as a guest/by logging into your personal account/by creating an account.

Step 5: Booking details and order confirmation.

Based on the selected criteria, https://matkailuauto.eu/ will provide you with an “offer” that matches your needs in the form of an order total. The “Offer” will be available on the page under the heading “Reservation Information”. An “Offer” is legally defined as: a service that includes a selected vehicle category, available for a selected duration, with selected options (if any); the fare to be paid; and the terms and conditions.

Acceptance of the “offer”:

You will be asked to accept the “offer” from https://matkailuauto.eu/.

Confirmation:

You will then be asked to confirm your acceptance of the “offer” using Payment().

Notice from https://matkailuauto.eu/:

https://matkailuauto.eu/ will send you a booking confirmation by email, including your booking number. Your booking confirmation will include details of your booking.

 

II. Booking Confirmation

At the end of the online booking process, you will be taken to the Booking Confirmation page. Once payment has been submitted, you will receive a booking confirmation email containing details of your booking in “PDF” format. Please keep your booking confirmation (vehicle rental voucher) and be prepared to present it when you arrive at the rental station https://matkailuauto.eu/ to pick up your rental vehicle.

III. Booking Details

Booking date:

Online bookings can be made up to 72 hours before the start of the rental.

Online bookings can be made for the next 12 months.

Reservations with rental start time closer than 72 hours can be requested directly via call, contact form or email.

Requests for reservations with the start of the rental period more than 12 months from the date of request, you can request a call, feedback form or email.

Minimum rental duration:

The minimum rental period for a motorhome is one day. One rental day is treated as one calendar day. Receipt and return of the vehicle during the opening hours of rental stations (from 8:00 am to 18:00 pm) by appointment is included in the final price and is not subject to additional fees.

If you are interested in receiving or returning the vehicle at a time other than during the rental station’s operating hours (from 8:00 am to 6:00 pm), then this service will be subject to additional payment (penalty) and will be treated as “Service” during non-working hours.” The fee for “Out of Hours Service” is automatically included in the total amount of the reservation if the time you choose to pick up or return the vehicle occurs outside the rental station’s operating hours (from 18:00 pm to 8:00 am).

Maximum rental duration:

The maximum rental duration is limited only by the availability of the vehicle for the entire rental period.

IV. Daily Rate

The rental price includes all necessary fees and assumes the following goods and services:

Booking processing and professional customer service

Cleaning and washing the external and internal surfaces of the motorhome

Technical inspection

Professional introduction and familiarization with the motorhome

Flexible operating hours of motorhome rental stations by appointment: 7 days a week from 8:00 a.m. to 6:00 p.m.

24/7 technical support

Modern and fully equipped vehicles. For more information, please visit the “Motorhome Categories” page

Taxes and fees

Included mileage is 2000 km (additional kilometers are paid separately)

Insurance against loss or damage to property by third parties

Kitchenware

Electrical cable for connecting the motorhome to the electrical network and a water hose for replenishing clean water

Booklets with motorhome operating instructions

Navigation device on demand

The standard coverage deductible is displayed at the time of booking and indicates the maximum amount of money you are required to pay in the event of an accident (such as damage caused by the renter). Please note that you are responsible for ensuring that an amount equal to the excess is available in your account for the entire period of your rental.

The price list and excess amount will be displayed when you book online and will appear on your booking confirmation. Once the booking is confirmed, the rates remain fixed.

If there is an error in the price displayed on the website or during the booking process, the motorhome rental will be cancelled, as long as the customer can be expected to understand that there is an error in the price.

Additional booking fees may include:

Any additional equipment. Please see the list of additional products and services listed in step 3.

Service “Service during non-working hours”. The service will only be charged when you have indicated that the vehicle will be collected or returned outside of business hours (from 18:00 pm to 8:00 am). The out-of-hours service fee is automatically included in the total amount of the booking and is available for review before payment confirms the booking.

Any fine issued by the relevant authority during the rental period. For example, fines for violating traffic rules or parking fines.

Road toll (payment for travel on toll roads)

In the event of an accident that results in damage to the rental vehicle, you are required to pay an amount equal to the cost to replace the damage and lost items, not exceeding the deductible ceiling (amount). Insurance is void if the driver is under the influence of alcohol or other illegal drugs while driving a vehicle without a valid driver’s license, or for reckless driving.

V. Payment / Payment Method / Deposit Terms and Conditions

A. Payment

Prepayment of online booking (partial or full payment):

If you choose to pay in part for an online booking, you will need to create an account and pay 30% of the booking cost by transfer to your Finntory OY personal account. Payment of your reservation guarantees the validity of your reservation and the remaining payment will be requested 14 days before the start of your rental. Each booking will be confirmed by a confirmation email. All payments must be paid 14 days before the start of the first day of rental. When booking less than 14 days before the start of the rental, the full amount of the reservation must be paid immediately.

IMPORTANT!

If the reservation or any part thereof remains unpaid by the time of the first day of rental, Finntori OY reserves the right to completely refuse to hand over the vehicle or any part of the reservation services and therefore cancel the reservation in whole or in part.

B. Payment Method

Payment is made by transferring funds to the personal account of Finntory OY as well as by Mastercard and Visa bank cards at the payment acceptance point of the rental station. Online bookings can only be paid using the above methods.

Credit card(s)

Attention! Payment by credit card is accepted according to the limits approved by your bank.

Debit card(s)

Attention! Debit cards are accepted as a guarantee of booking payment. Debit cards can also be used to pay for additional goods and services at the rental station.

Visa and MasterCard credit cards are accepted at the rental station. Payment at the rental station for possible additional goods or services can also be made using most debit cards.

VI. Qualifications at the Start of Rental: Age Restrictions and Documentation

For important information about age restrictions, driver’s licenses and other required documents at FinCamper rental stations, please refer to the “Handbook”.

VII. Changes to the Booking: Change/Cancellation of Booking

If you wish to shorten, extend or cancel your reservation, you must contact the manager of https:matkailuauto.ee in writing.

In the event of cancellation or reduction in the duration of a confirmed booking, the following fees will apply:

On the start day of the trip or no-show: 100% of the total cost of the reservation

Finntori OY reserves the right to immediately release and resell the reserved motorhome rental upon receipt of information about a no-show or confirmation of the final cancellation of the reservation.

You can view your booking online once it has been confirmed, however all booking changes and cancellations must be requested via email or call. In the event of a reduction in days, goods or services from a fully prepaid reservation, a change/cancellation fee may be charged on the reduced portion of the rental. Extending a fully paid booking or adding additional products or services to a booking is always free of charge and there is no change fee.

VIII. Receiving a Vehicle: Changing Technical Specifications and Client Arrival Time

The time of receipt and return of the vehicle (beginning and end of the rental) is always agreed upon with the FinCamper rental station, after which a specific time is assigned at which the company employee will wait for the Client. The client is obliged to inform the rental station if there are any changes in the schedule of arrival at the rental station at the agreed time and in the flight details indicated in the rental voucher.

The FinCamper Rental Station is required to provide, within a certain ”guaranteed period” as defined below, the requested vehicle category or a higher vehicle category confirmed at the time of booking and subject to FinCamper’s requirements.

If the booked and confirmed vehicle category cannot be provided within the ”guaranteed period”, Finntori OY will make alternative arrangements. By alternative solutions it is meant that Finntori OY can change the category of the booked motorhome to another model that is superior in category to the original model without any extra price premiums. Also, Finntori OY reserves the right to change the stated technical characteristics without notifying the client.

Delay at the Start/End of the Rental

In the event that it is not possible to collect the rental vehicle from the rental station at the previously confirmed location and at the agreed time specified on your booking voucher, FinCamper will not be liable for any lost rental time caused by such delays.

In addition, in this case, the rental station may charge an hourly fee for the delay.

If the vehicle is picked up/returned between 6:00 p.m. and 8:00 a.m., an “Out of Hours Service” fee may be charged due to the above delays.

If collection of the vehicle due to a delay cannot be carried out during business hours (from 8:00 am to 18:00 pm), FinCamper may refuse to provide services during business hours and offer that collection of the vehicle will take place during the next day at the shortest possible time mutually agreed upon between the rental station and the client.

Any delay resulting in the inability to pick up the vehicle within the time stated on the vehicle rental voucher must be reported to the rental station immediately.

Rental station information (including email address and 24-hour technical support number) is indicated on the vehicle rental voucher provided to the Client upon confirmation of the booking, as well as on the “Contact Us” page.

IX. Impossibility of Starting Rental – No Show

If the vehicle is not collected on the confirmed vehicle pickup date (as stated on the rental voucher), or no later than 10:00 am the next day, and FinCamper has not received any notice of possible failure or delay in vehicle pickup, or cancellation of the reservation , then FinCamper reserves the right to immediately vacate and resell the booked motorhome rental without further notice. X. Force Majeure

Neither party is liable for failure to fulfill its obligations under this agreement caused by force majeure. “Force Majeure” is considered – as defined – as any uncontrollable or unforeseen event, beyond the control of the party affected by the Force Majeure event, which prevents that party from fulfilling its obligations.

XI. Responsibilities – Applicable Law – Competent Court

Some jurisdictions do not allow the exclusion of certain warranties or the limitation or exclusion of liability for incidental or consequential damages. Accordingly, some of the above limitations set forth in this article may not apply. In particular, nothing in these terms and conditions affects the statutory rights of any consumer or excludes or limits any liability for death or personal injury arising from the negligence or fraud of Finntori OY. You expressly acknowledge and agree that FinCamper, its officers, directors or employees will not be liable for any direct, indirect, incidental, special, incidental or exemplary damages, including, but not limited to: damages for loss of profits , goodwill, use, data or other intangible losses (even if FinCamper has been advised of the possibility of such damages) resulting from an online booking.

XII. Complaints

Any objection regarding the booking procedure, any stage or aspect thereof, must be submitted by email.

Any claim regarding the receipt of the vehicle (start of rental) at the relevant rental station; the vehicle itself; any event that occurred during the confirmed rental period; or upon return of the vehicle (end of rental), must be sent by email.

Any complaint must be sent to the rental station as soon as possible, or no later than within 2 months after the rental has been confirmed, in order to be taken into account by Finntori OY.

Any malfunction, technical malfunction or accident of the vehicle during the rental period must be immediately reported to the FinCamper rental station. Please read Part 5 of the General Rental Terms and Conditions.
